Events
We are moving to Jerusalem.
We have been in Jericho for almost 2 years, now. Our address in Jerusalem is still: P.O. Box 1539,
Jerusalem 91009, Israel. Our land line here untill we move is:01 1972 (for out of country) 232-0229. We will post our
Jerusalem land line in October when we move.
Vern is a Director in Living Bread International NGO and has set up their accounting. The ministry desires Vern to
be closer to them for this purpose. We are getting rid of extra 'stuff' we have accumulated so we will be lighter
in our move. Having a furnished apartment makes moving much easier. Vern went online and found a listing for an
apartment downtown Jerusalem (just what Ann was praying for). It is right next door to a Christian church we have gone
to before. How convenient can you get? In Oakland we were one and a half blocks from our church. The apartment
is 2 bedrooms 2 baths with all utilities paid. The pastors who own it want to bless someone as the Lord blessed them!
We do pray that this is the place the Lord wants us to have. Will update this when we know more.
We will be home to the States from September 9-30. We will go to conventions at which our Pastor will be speaking.

Ministry News
Our U.S. Itinerary is: Flight to S.F. 9-8, arriving 9-9; One night there at Cindy Jacob's convention.
On to our friend's the James so graciously letting us stay over night. Then in rented car, to Nevada to see our 'sending
church' and real good friends there for a week. We will drive over to Sonora, CA to Vern's sister's house for a few
days and look over what's left of our things stored there. (
Ann's got a list of 'things' to bring back to Israel.) Then we drive back to S.F. to fly to Toronto for a conference
there where Karen is speaking. We will be flying back to Israel about 2-3 days later.

By the grace and miracle of God we were able to obtain our one-year working VISAS!!! and don't have to go out of the
country every three months on a tourist VISA. These VISA's are good for five years with renewals every year.
We have heard from a lawyer we will be using for Living Bread ministry, that after the 5 year renewals we can apply for
residency. Oh, please pray for this as we feel we are to remain in Israel and this will be our base of operation as
He sends us out to different countries. We will be traveling to the U.S. occasionally, however.
