Vern's Story:
Vern, a native of Sonora, California, became a Christian when he was in
High School and attended a church there. Leaving Sonora, he went to the Bay Area to attend the University of California at
Berkeley for one year. Then came home while he studied at the Modesto Junior College. He finished his BA degree, majoring
in Political Science at San Francisco State University.
Vern attended a church in San Francisco, where he received
the Baptism in the Spirit. With a friend he visited a church in Oakland, CA. This became his home church and where he attended
for the next 25 years. He met and married his wife, Ann, there. Vern worked on the church staff in different capacities such
as office manager and principal of their Christian school. Vern has taught several classes and years at the church Bible College
where he obtained his ThB. Vern is a man of the Word and his delight is to teach the Body of Christ the fundamentals of the
Bible and how to live for Christ.
Now, through many and varying ways the Lord has led Vern, with Ann, to become a traveling
ministry (as you can read on the History page of this Web site).
